Men Who Mentored Me: Who Will I Mentor?

Men Who Mentored Me: Who Will I Mentor?

Over the past several weeks, I have written about men who spent time mentoring and pouring their lives into mine. I would not be where I am today without any of these men and I am so grateful for their impact on my life. But the question for me now is who will I mentor? Who will I pour my life into and impact their lives? I have tried over the past years to pour my life into others and help them grow in their walk with God. My goal though is to continue pouring my life into other young men and Lord willing, eventually mentoring and pouring my life into Turkish men who will impact Turkey with the Gospel! My question to you is who will you mentor? Have you been pouring your life into others? If you haven’t, you should start! There are people all around you who look to you for leadership as a Christian and you can pour yourself into them and help them impact the world with the Gospel! But see, in order to pour our lives into others, we must have the Bible and God being poured into our own life. We need to be in the Word of God daily and serving God so that we can in turn pour our lives into those around us! It is not a difficult task, but it does take time. It takes spending time with people, getting to know them, praying for them, sharing with them what you have learned from the word of God, helping them grow in their faith and even sometimes being hurt by them. But it is worth it to pour our lives into others who, in turn, can pour their lives into the next generation and make an impact on the world for the sake of the Gospel! My question to you is who are you mentoring and pouring your life into? If no one, then find people to pour your life into and mentor. If you are pouring your life into others, I would tell you to keep going and find more people to invest your life in!
