Steps to becoming a missionary: Surrender to missions
Now that you have surrendered your life to God, this will make the next step so much easier! You see being surrendered to God in your life means that no matter what He calls you to do or where He calls you to go, you are willing to do it! Now then, it comes time to surrender to the idea of being a missionary! So many people think, there is no way I can be a missionary, or they are afraid to be a missionary because of where God will call them. But if you are truly surrendered in your life to God’s will, then you will not be afraid to surrender your life to a call to missions! There is such need in the world and I think all Christians should at least struggle and consider giving their life to missions! We have lots of doctors, mechanics, lawyers, teachers and civil servants, but we do not have enough missionaries in the world! So what does this surrender to missions include?

• A surrender to take the gospel to anywhere in the world: You are telling God that you see the great need all around the world and are willing to go any place that He would call you to go.
• A surrender to go: You are surrendering to go to the field and spend your life their working and ministering to the people there! You are telling God that no matter where it is, you will go and you will work there as long as He wants you to be there!
• A surrender to help get the gospel around the world: This being said, until you are able to go, you are doing everything to help others get to the field, by giving or even going on short term trips. It means that if something were to happen and you were unable to go that you would do everything in your power to help others get to the field! But it also means that if God calls you to a place, that while there, you are not only endeavoring to reach the area you are working in , but also endeavoring to reach all around the world!
