How to be involved in world evangelism right now: Get involved in your church!

This is another one that no matter who you are, you can start doing right now! You can get involved in your church right away and through that, allow God to help you grow. Getting involved in your church will help you start preparing for if God does call you to be a missionary! This will also allow you to impact others and pour your lives into others who could also get involved in world evangelism. So what are some ways you can get involved in your church?

1. Volunteer for the odd jobs— Find the jobs in your church that no one wants to do. Cleaning bathrooms, taking out the trash, things like that and ask your pastor if you can do them! It starts with little things and you should be willing to be a servant and do any job asked of you!
2. Help out your pastor—Meet with your pastor and find out what needs he has. Find out what ways you can be a help to him or your church. He will have a good idea of areas and places you could get involved in immediately.
3. Be at every event!—Be at every event your church hosts and you can be at. This will not only show that you are faithful, it will also give you plenty of chances to get involved!
4. Start a ministry— Find something your church is not already doing. Then go to your pastor and ask if you can start that ministry! This will help you start something and see God work in your life and allow Him to help grow you as you grow the ministry!
5. Get involved in kid ministries— Most churches offer a plethora of kid ministries and are always looking for helpers! Be willing to get involved in these ministries in any way that are open to you! Working with kids will help you as you grow and work in other ministries and also allow you to impact young people for God and for world evangelism!
6. Be a servant!—Remember we are called to be servants. We are not in this for recognition. No job should be below us no matter how long we have been serving or in ministry! Be willing to get involved whenever you are asked! If you are willing to be a servant now and have a servant attitude this will help you as you go forward in ministry and serving God to keep that servant’s heart!

Getting involved in your church is something anyone can do! Getting involved in your church will help open your eyes to needs and allow you to see God work in your life and prepare you if He does call you to the mission field! Be willing to get involved in your church and see how God can use it in your life and help grow your passion and heart for world evangelism!
