One of the Crazy Ones Because We are Ambassadors!

II Corinthians 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God

Why are we one of the crazy ones? Not just because Christ died for us, made us a new creature, reconciled us to God but because of this, He has made us ambassadors! An ambassador is a representative. They are representing said person or place in front of others. There are ambassadors of other countries all over the world. They represent those countries and act on behalf of those countries. As Christians, this earth is not our home, heaven is. God is our King and we are His representatives here on this earth. We should be living our lives to show the world there is something different about us! We have a joy they do not have. We have a peace they do not have. We should be acting on behalf of our King. He wants us to be telling the world about Him and that there is salvation in the death, burial and resurrection of His Son! We are to be light in a dark world! We are to let others see we live differently, because not only does our King love us but we love Him! Will you take seriously your responsibility to be an ambassador of the King of Heaven here on earth? If you do, you will be considered one of the crazy ones, but it is so worth it! Our King is the greatest and best King there ever could be! We should willingly serve Him! Let us be good representatives here on this earth of our God! Let us do all we can to further God and His kingdom by proclaiming His name and love all around the world!
