How to Get Involved in World Evangelism Right Now: Attend World Evangelism Events

Over the past several weeks we have discussed many ways to get involved in world evangelism right now. This week we are discussing world evangelism events. You may be wondering what they are but I will tell you there are many things going on that will help promote and prepare you for world evangelism!

1. World evangelism conferences— There are many mission boards that will host weekend conferences that you can attend. These are great opportunities to hear missionaries preach and be encouraged about how you can get involved in world evangelism! Our mission board hosts one of these every year and we would love to have you out to it! We call it the Our Generation Summit! You can go to ogsummit.com to find out more!
2. Mission’s conferences— Not only should you attend your own mission’s conference, but find like faith churches in your community and area and attend their mission’s conferences. This gives you a chance to meet and talk with missionaries as well as hear great preaching on the need all around the world!
3. One day events!—Many missionaries, churches and missions boards will host one day events promoting world evangelism! These are great to attend and be encouraged about world evangelism and find out how you can get involved in world evangelism! Vision Baptist Missions hosts these many times during the year! 4. Missions camps!— Some missions boards and places host missions camps during the summer. This is a week of camp that is usually ran by missionaries and you hear preaching on becoming a missionary and getting involved in missions! This helps you get close with missionaries and also helps motivate you to get involved in world evangelism! 5.  Mission board/Training center open houses—Mission boards will sometimes have open houses that allow you to come in and see what they are all about! These are great opportunities to meet missionaries and see what goes into becoming one. Also, many mission’s training centers will have these as well! It is a great time to see the training center and what it is all about and how you can get involved in world evangelism through the board and training center!
