Going against an entire army alone is not “safety first.”

Going against an entire army alone is not “safety first.”

Elisha kept telling the king where the Syrian army was going to be. The king of Syria thought they had a spy in their midst, but his men told them about Elisha. The king then sent an entire army to get Elisha. Elisha and his servant were in a town when the army came and found them. The servant was concerned that they were in danger, but Elisha new God was on their side and that the ones with them were greater than those against them. He put his safety to the side and blinded the whole army. Then lead them to Samaria and to the king of Israel. He had an entire army against him, but stepped out in faith. He knew that his God was bigger than anything that the world could throw at him. He put his safety to the side to prove to others that God can and will work. He proved to Israel and to Syria that God is the one true God. Why not be willing to step out and do something for God? When things are going against you, realize that those that are for you are greater than those that are against you!
