One of the Crazy one Because We Have the Mind of Christ!

Philippians 2:5-11 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

We, as Christians, should have the mind of Christ. That mind was one of being a servant and of obedience. We should be willing to obey the command of Christ. That command is the Great Commission and is to get the gospel to the whole world. First off,  If you have the mind of Christ, you are willing to obey God and His word! Sadly, many do not want to obey God or His command to get the gospel to the world, but we must and need to! Secondly, we see that the mind of Christ is the mind of a servant. If you read the book of Mark, time and time again you see Christ portrayed as a servant and that was His mindset. He did not come to rule the world or to have people wait hand and foot on Him. He came to minister to others. We have been saved, not to sit and be served. We have been saved to minister and be a servant to others! If we have the mind of Christ, we will have a servant’s mindset. Meaning, we will not seek our own glory, but the glory of God. The best way to do this is by serving others and sharing with them the good news of the gospel! If we, as Christians, had the mind of being a servant and would actually serve others instead of ourselves, people would see a difference in us and want to know about it! That would open doors to share the gospel!

Being a servant though means that you may be despised, ridiculed or made fun of but you just keep ministering! That is what it takes in many countries to share the gospel with certain people! Being willing to be taken advantage of, lied to and mistreated, and although it sounds crazy, that is the mind of Christ and the mind of a servant! Lastly, we see that one day every knee will bow before Christ. Why should this make us be one of the crazy ones? Because people from all around the world will be worshipping God that day through confusion and gritting teeth. They will be angry because no one told them Jesus was God. They will be worshiping Him, wondering why no one told them that Jesus loved them and died for them and that He was God. But as Christians, we can change this. If we put on the mind of Christ, we can give our lives to proclaim the gospel anywhere and everywhere! Will you be one of the crazy ones and put on the mind of Christ? Many Christians are not willing to obey the word of God like they should and most Christians are not willing to serve others, but we should and must in order to reach the world with the gospel in this generation! Be one of the crazy ones so peoples all around the earth can worship Christ now, instead of when they are made to bow and worship Him in the future.
